Georgian Carnelian "The Moon Fires You" Cupid Seal Fob vauxhall glass The gemstones are aquamarine colouredDATE: Georgian, c. 1800 Such a sweet George III seal fob dating from the turn of the 19th Century. It's crafted in 15 karat gold, and has been set with an intaglio carved Carnelian panel in the base. The scene depicts Cupid using a bellows to fire up a little heart he's clearly in his workshop, surrounded by various arrows, his bow, and other love themed trinkets. The French motto reads: "LA LUNE TE FEU" which translates literally as The Moon Fires
